Fire Roasted Tequila Lime
Dry Rub
Description:
The Tequila Lime dry rub & marinade add flavor, not fat. A collection of
unique seasoning blends created by All Stars Dips chefs, to enhance
everyday meals to taste like a gourmet dish.Weight 7 oz.
Ingredients: Dextrose, Salt, black pepper, Dehydrated onion & Garlic,
Spice, Japaleño powder, Natural and artificial flavors.
A rub is a highly concentrated blend of herbs and spices applied to
meat, fish or poultry to accentuate the flavor when grilling.
To use as a rub: Sprinkle on the surface of meat, fish or poultry. Wait
10 minutes then grill.
To use as a marinade: Place seasoned meat, fish or poultry in the
refrigerator for 2 hours or longer prior to grilling.
Helpful hints: When using a rub o poultry or fowl, be sure to apply
the seasoning under the skin so that the flavor absorb directly into the
meat.
Recipe:
Whole Rotisserie or Roast Chicken.
1- 3 to 3 1/2 lb Whole Chicken.
3 Tbsp. Fire roasted creations™ Tequila Lime
Seasoning.
1/2 cup Tequila Lime Marinade.
Trim & truss chicken. Coat evenly with Fire roasted creations™
Tequila Lime Seasoning & cook according to rotisserie manufacturer's
directions. You may also bake chicken in 325º
Oven for approx 1 1/2 hrs. or until internal temperature is 165º
(or when juices run clear when inside of thigh is pierced). Baste
chicken with marinade during last 10 minutes of cooking time.
Tequila Lime Marinade & Baste.
Yields 1 cup of marinade or baste.
1 cup Olive oil.
4 Tbsp. Fire roasted creations™ Tequila
Lime Seasoning.
Combine ingredients & pour over meat. Allow to marinate in
refrigerator for 2 to 6 hours prior to cooking. Flavor will intensify
with longer marinade time.
